But I just can't seem to get it the way I want in Reaper. What is the standard thing to do here? I know it's not anything complicated. This method also seems to raise a number of panning issues for me. I can also hear the DI'd guitar signal running alongside the guitar effected by Bias FX. And it works using sends on the guitar tracks. So no matter how many guitar tracks I'm running, I only have one instance of Bias FX running at a time. What seems to make sense to me is to have a single instance of Bias FX running on a stereo track, and just send the mono tracks I'll be recording guitars on to that stereo track running Bias FX. This would be too CPU heavy for my system. Now, of course I don't want to have multiple instances of Bias FX running separately on each track. Maybe with some leads panned fairly central, some harmonies etc. To remove an effect, simply hover the mouse cursor over the effect and click the 'x' button. ![]() ![]() Double-click on the desired effect or drag the effect pedal to anywhere on the signal path to add. Usually the main rhythm part recorded twice, one panned left, one panned right. You can click the Add button right below the top bar to open the effects menu. And of course I am recording multiple guitar tracks. I have the problem with my KT88 PP stereo integrated amp to set bias voltages of KT88 of which scheme as below If I set Vk to the same value by adjusting the pots for both tubes, I have audible hum so I cannot set them to the same value but different values, I.e. An example is the Marshall JCM2000 series. In many cases it is already possible to adjust the bias for the power tubes yourself by means of a trimpot. I hope I'm going to explain my problem clearly enough here. In principle, the question generally applies to tube amps for guitar, but in this particular case I will take the example of the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. We'd love to hear what you have produced with Reaper, but please post it in the weekly sticky. No piracyÄo not ask for or link to pirated content or pirate sites, and do not promote or suggest piracy. For example you could buy a used S300 for about 900 bucks, but an optical bias could go up to 1400 even 1500 used, original pricing was the same I believe somewhere between 3200 & 3600. No unapproved commercial promotionĬommerical promotion by or on behalf of a commercial interest must be approved by moderators. The series 2 versions were a lot harder to come by in the used market with optical bias and sometimes quite a bit more money like 500 bucks. If a difference of opinion becomes uncivil or unproductive, moderators may step in. We can have cooperative disagreements when we're trying to help each other. ![]() Memes and similar content are also considered off-topic. Posts should be related to Reaper, the digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software created by Cockos.
